Responsible for software architecture design for customers & serve as a Subject Matter Expert for designated technology stack. Act as primary client contact for technical aspects of new technology evaluation. Design and architect network health forecast models, telemetry options, performance monitoring, failure prediction, workflow & configuration management systems. Guide the team’s development methodology & review, and approve the final submitted code. Propose & provide technical guidance in software design process, including data modeling, data repository design, & data transformation. Provide technical guidance in technology feasibility studies of new Network Management Software with consideration for its ability to scale up for future needs. Design, develop & implement technology platforms to quickly build application prototypes for management review. Develop sprint schedule based on technical plan & guide discussion in development sprints. Guide team on best practices of software development involving acquisition of test data, access to appropriate support systems & necessary infrastructure facilities to meet customer demands. Provide guidance for all major technical issues spanning various technology stacks, acting as a customer partner. Provide expert guidance on various industry best practices of process management, including ITIL, Six Sigma, & their practical implementation in a variety of industries. Design & development of specialized, enterprise-level software scripts, which are used for level 3 or 4 administration of a complex communication network involving millions of users. Software is used for: remote management of customer premises devices, tracing & alarming on issues affecting the connected device through standard & custom network protocols, event-based automated response to restore the health of affected device & reducing time to restore. Design, develop, & deliver software for other complex IT systems, including management & data management for critical & large datasets, using various software development methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, Xtreme, etc. Work across multiple teams, managing respective software deliverables concurrently. Design, develop, configure & implement various enterprise network management software & other network & systems management software across the network, server, application, security & services layers. Design & develop security protocols through thorough assessment of access requirements. Ensure cyber security compliance of handling sensitive data. Design, develop, customize & support advanced web-based programs & applications for complex information management systems. Synthesize functional requirements into technical requirements. Plan, design, execute, & test customer disaster recovery process & procedures. Responsible for seamless failover of supported applications to backup environments while meeting agreed service level agreements (SLA). Understand & develop cross-functional integrations to enable complex software applications to share & use data while maintaining data integrity. Supervise code updates from junior developers & control commit functions for repository. Define data warehousing needs & develop data modeling & large data management technologies to support full-life-cycle system development. Enable automation of repeatable actions using models to determine system behavior in altered conditions while improving performance.
