Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Lead DevOps to manage, optimize, and scale our large-scale, internet-facing infrastructure. In this role, you will act as a core operational authority driving continuous integration, automated deployments, cloud infrastructure management, and robust observability solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enforce cloud governance, maintain system resilience, and deliver enterprise-grade performance across 24/7 rotational operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Infrastructure & Governance: Design, build, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure solutions on AWS or GCP, ensuring adherence to strict cloud governance models.
• CI/CD & System Automation: Maintain and scale continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, utilizing custom scripting to streamline operational workflows.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Manage containerized workloads at scale using Docker and enterprise Kubernetes platforms (EKS, GKE).
• Observability & Log Analytics: Build, tune, and maintain the ELK Stack along with log shippers to ensure comprehensive monitoring, performance tuning, and actionable alerting systems.
• Production Systems Operations: Deliver Linux system administration, index lifecycle management (ILM), and API-driven automation to ensure high availability across critical production environments.

Required Technical & Professional Skills

• SRE & Production Operations: 3+ years of hands-on production operations experience managing large-scale, Internet-facing infrastructure.
• Cloud Platforms: Direct experience building cloud solutions in AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with strong knowledge of cloud governance models.
• Linux Administration: Advanced proficiency in Linux operating systems (RHEL/CentOS/Debian) and core OS fundamentals.
• Containerization & Kubernetes: Strong hands-on experience supporting containerized workloads (Docker, EKS, GKE) and solid mastery of Kubernetes concepts (Pods, Services, ConfigMaps, Helm).
• Observability & ELK Stack: Expertise in application performance monitoring, alerting systems, and deep hands-on experience with the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), log shippers (Filebeat, Fluentd, Fluent Bit), Index Lifecycle Management (ILM), and Elasticsearch tuning.
• CI/CD & Scripting: Strong skills in CI/CD pipeline automation alongside proficiency in scripting languages including Python, Bash, Perl, or JavaScript.
• APIs & Data Protocols: Working experience with REST APIs and JSON structures.

Preferred Certifications (Bonus)

• Cloud Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or GCP Cloud Engineer / Architect certifications.
